Last spring, PRC connected with parents and community partners across Ottawa to better understand what families need most. Over the past year, we’ve been working behind the scenes - building partnerships, securing funding, and developing new programs - to turn that feedback into real, meaningful support.
As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we’re reflecting on what we heard - and how it is shaping our programs and priorities today.
You told us you want more programs for children ages 3–6, more parenting support, and more opportunities to connect. We heard you - and we’re responding.
From launching new Kindergarten readiness programming, to expanding parenting workshops, to hosting more community events as part of our 50th anniversary year, we’re taking action to better support families in 2026 and beyond.
