Susan Duke

EarlyON Program Manager 


Susan is a member of the College of Early Childhood Educators and has been working with children and families throughout her professional career.  She began in Group Care working with School Age Programs and become a Program Director at two local Day Care Centres.

Susan became involved as a coordinator in the EarlyON Centres in their infancy, where she is currently an EarlyON Program Manager at the Parent Resource Centre.   Other positions include:  Home Care Supervisor, Nursery School Teacher and Parent Educator providing parent workshops to families through the EarlyON Centres, Family Services Ottawa, and Lunch & Learns in Ottawa Business’.  Workshops included:  How to Talk so Kids will Listen, Kids Have Stress Too, Make the Connection and Reaching in/reaching out (RIRO), to mention a few.

Over the years she has attended multiple trainings and conferences to include, RIRO, Make the Connection, Attachment, Children’s Mental Health Ontario, (CMH0), Mothercraft – Building Resilience with Infants & Young Children and currently, Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Trainings (CPMHT).

Susan is committed to supporting families with their children to allow them to do their best, in order to enjoy happy and healthy relationships.
