Hannah James

Secretary

Hannah James is a Speech-Language Pathologist and the owner of Hannah James Speech and Language Services, a practice in Centrepointe, Nepean, that provides assessment and therapy to children and adults. She holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from McGill University and is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). Throughout her career, Hannah has supported clients with language delays, speech sound and motor speech disorders, autism spectrum disorder, social communication challenges, and early literacy needs.

Hannah’s work is grounded in a client-centred, family-focused approach. She believes parents and caregivers are a child’s most important teachers, and she equips families with practical, personalized strategies to support communication at home. She brings this perspective, along with her experience in early childhood development and running her own practice, to the Parent Resource Centre Board, and is proud to support PRC’s mission of building confident, resilient families in Ottawa.

As a health and fitness enthusiast, Hannah can often be found powerlifting at the gym, playing tennis with her local club, or cycling in Gatineau Park.
