The Counselling Group is accepting participants for our 10 week Social Skills Groups for Children (ages 7 – 11) and Youth (ages 12 – 15). Based in Elements of Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), these small groups are suited for children who struggle in social situations, experience difficulty relating to peers and making friends, and who have difficulty noticing and responding to social cues. The aim of the group is to provide children and youth with a fun learning environment where they can develop the ability to navigate social situations and make friends! Children with learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, and Asperger’s are also welcome.
