September 29: The Temperament Factor: Preventing Misbehaviour by Managing Intensity: You'll discover ways to prevent problems and make life easier at the same time learn the strengths that come with a "difficult" temperament.
 
October 6 Discipline That Looks for Solutions:
In this workshop you will learn an approach to teaching children better behaviour by focusing on solutions to problems instead of on punishment.

Baby Wearing Latin Dance

Moms and Dads get fit with your babies by learning fun steps to the rhythmic beats of Salsa and other Latin dances. This class is open to everyone, you don’t even need to know how to dance; the desire to share a special moment of music and movement with your child is all you need. Your baby will love being swayed while in direct contact with you! We recommend that your child be at least 6–8 weeks old, as well by that time a mother has normally recovered enough to begin exercising. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that allows movement.

Comfort Measures for Birth
A hands-on class that includes coping strategies of many styles (Lamaze, Bonapace, Rebozo, Yoga, Visualisation, Cranial Sacral Therapy..) to help you find practical tips for your labour and birth.
Dress comfortably, bring a birth/pilates ball if you have one, a comfortable pillow, and a yoga mat or bath towel.
This class is designed as a compliment to our prenatal class (group or private). 
It is a great refresher for those who have already taken a prenatal course, are having another baby, preparing for a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarian) and is especially designed for those wanting strategies to avoid pharmaceutical pain relief.
Labour partners are strongly encouraged to help support the birthing woman and to expect homework.  Pregnant women who would like to come alone are invited to work directly with the facilitator.
